Friday, September 6, was the date for our largest attended LifeWay retiree annual business meeting with more than 200 in attendance. Art Burcham opened our meeting with a very meaningful devotional and prayer, followed by several Executive Committee reports.
New members were elected to our Executive Committee including Steve Gately as Historian, Katie Shull as Website Associate, and Morlee Maynard as Email Associate. During a “Time of Remembrance” Lloyd Elder paid tribute to the 80 retiree deaths over the past year. Morlee Maynard presented printed copies of the Constitution Revision which was approved. She also recognized several new retirees who were present.
